AQH 80

The high-pressure triplex plunger pump AQH 80, designed for output up to 160 kW, achieving pressures of up to 1250 bar and flow rates of up to 76 l/min, offers reliable performance for a wide range of industrial applications – the rehabilitation of reinforced concrete structures, cleaning of industrial technologies, heat exchangers, tanks, reservoirs, or as a power source for other hydraulic systems.

In its basic configuration, the pump is equipped with an integrated single-stage gearbox, enabling in most applications direct drive of the pump using commonly available motors, and an internal oil cooler. For higher performance requirements, the system can be supplemented with a high-capacity external cooler.

Characteristics

  • the robust design makes the pump suitable for deployment in the most demanding conditions
  • high reliability and long service life of the pump are ensured by the hydraulic section, which is made of high-quality stainless steel together with carbide plungers
  • a thorough separation of the pumped medium and the oil filling of the crankcase results in higher operational reliability of the pump and minimizes maintenance requirements
  • long service intervals are a fundamental prerequisite for low operating costs
  • pumped medium: primarily designed for pumping water, oils, and mildly chemically aggressive substances with mechanical contamination up to 0.1 mm. After consultation with our development engineers, the pump can be adapted for pumping almost any liquid

Pump description

Mechanical part of the pump

  • proven design of the crank mechanism
  • an integral part of the mechanical section of the pump is a built-in single-stage gearbox with the option to choose from a wide range of gear ratios, which significantly facilitates adaptation of the pump to the required parameters and its subsequent coupling with the required drive (electric motor, hydraulic motor, or internal combustion engine)
  • lubrication is ensured by an oil mist and by pressurized lubrication using a gear pump, which is driven directly by the crankshaft
  • multiple design configurations:
    • the drive shaft can be configured for right- or left-hand outlet
    • structurally, it can be modified for direct drive of the crankshaft from the driving machine, allowing radial loading of the output shaft (belt drive)
    • integrated water cooling of the oil fill in the standard design
    • for higher outputs, an efficient cooling system using an external cooling circuit and utilizing the pumped fluid can be added

Hydraulic part of the pump

  • optimized to meet the requirements for pressure, flow rate, and the pumped medium
  • resistant to corrosion and cavitation – all parts in contact with the pumped medium are made of stainless steel
  • according to requirements, the hydraulic components can be manufactured from steels of various grades, and the pump can be structurally adapted for pumping almost any medium (chemically aggressive substances, highly viscous liquids, non-standard temperatures, mechanically contaminated fluids, etc.) – see the Custom Pump Manufacturing section for more information

Valve assemblies

  • the precision design ensures minimal system pulsation
  • designed for pneumatic shut-off of the suction valves to enable optional pump control

Pump seals

  • maintenance-free soft ring packing (rings with rope packing pressed by a spring)
  • the pumped fluid is used for cooling and flushing of the seals
  • for non-standard pumped media, the seal can be designed in a lip seal configuration

Plunger

  • a wide range of diameters meets all customer requirements
  • made of high-quality austenitic steel
  • extended service life is achieved through a combination of a highly hard, wear-resistant coating and high-quality surface finishing
