Device for vacuum extraction of heavily contaminated liquid.

Custom production of a vacuum unit with a water circulation valve for pumping abrasive slurry and other mechanically heavily contaminated liquids.

Integration of the water circulation valve, couplings, and electric motor with 2m3 tank for contaminated liquid and stainless steel vacuum tanks, all connected on a robust frame designed for easy movement around individual workplaces in the customers´ production area by the forklifts. The tanks are equipped with safety and pressure sensor switches. The entire system has user-friendly control through a control panel with a TOTAL STOP button. The Siemens Simatic control system is programmed with regard to intuitiveness, simplicity and maximum device functionality, security, including continuous monitoring of the unit's status as automatic shutdown when the tank is full, dry run protection, current protection, and more.

Parameter Table:

Vacuum 0,8 l
Flow rate 200 l/min
Power 8,5 kW
Tank volume 1200 l
Weight 1100 kg
Size 1800x1200x2060

Application:
The vacuum unit has replaced a series of sludge pumps that were unable to consistently pump abrasive, mechanically heavily contaminated liquid (slurry) from tanks, leading to frequent breakdowns, repairs and replacements. Thanks to the vacuum system, the pumped (sucked) liquid does not come into contact with the pump (or water circulation valve), preventing extreme wear and tear. Additionally, the vacuum unit is capable of extracting even highly dense settled solids at the bottom of the tank, which the customer previously had to remove manually.
