Mobile dewatering and irrigation pump powered by 85 kW DEUTZ diesel engine

The pumping unit is mainly used to as a feeding pump for a high-performance pumping equipment for pressure testing of the pipelines and piping systems. Due to its construction and performance (expecially high suction head even at maximum speed) it is also used for dewatering, cleaning and other specific activities connected with service of the piping systems for gas and oil transport and distribution of the petroleum products and other chemicals.

CHARACTERISTICS

The pumping unit is powered by 85 kW DEUTZ diesel engine with manual speed control, connected via a flexible coupling to a centrifugal pump of the performance 450m3/hod, 45m. The unit is placed in a steel frame, which includes a sump pan to prevent leakage of operating fluids and fairing of the pumping unit, which allows operation in harsh environments.

The pumpimg unit is designed for easy handling of the equipment by crane or forklift. The suction and discharge of the pump is designed for VICTAULIC connection. The pump displacement is equipped with a throttle valve which, together with manual control of the engine speed, allows the machine to start smoothly and set the required performance.

The control system contains basic controls and continuously monitors the engine and eventually shuts it down. The fault is indicated by the specific light on the control panel.
