Reconstruction of the booster pumping unit for the hydraulic testing lab in Vítkovice

Replacement of a booster set with a dramatically reduction of the built area in the Vitkovice Ironworks Complex. Booster set is used for transport pressurized water to a testing room and to produce DEMI water.

ORIGINAL STATUS

Three 50 CVX pumps and a 1000 liter expansion tank, controlled by pressure switches. The tank and pumps can be seen in the picture. Chalk indicating the location of the new booster station.

AFTER RECONSTRUCTION

A new booster station serving as a source of pressurized water for testing and producing DEMI water. The tightness of large weldments is tested on the test facility and pressurized with a new product - pressure device AQVT 11-800 / 6,5-E.

New AQCS 15 / 6-3x5,5-FN100 . The pumping unit consists of 3 stainless steel vertical pump controlled by variable frequency drivers, which are located in the control panel. It controls the pumps to achieve a constant pressure of 6.5 bar. Standard flow rate for 2 pumps 0-660 l / min of pumps, the third pump is used as backup pump. The control unit is programmed to assist the third pump in non-standard states (eg during startup or higher take-off). The control unit also monitors if there is enough water in the intake manifold (dry run), ensures pump alternation, records the number of hours of operation, records and reports fault conditions, etc.
