The AQK 80 high-pressure horizontal triplex piston pump with crank mechanism is designed for power up to 112 kW, a maximum pressure of 100 bar, and a maximum flow rate of 1060 l/min. The piston pump is primarily intended for pumping chemically non-aggressive liquids (water, emulsions, and oils) at a maximum temperature of 50°C. However, a version R has also been developed for temperatures up to 90°C and a maximum kinematic viscosity of 38 mm²/s, with a maximum size of non-settling mechanical impurities of up to 100 µm. The volumetric content of these impurities in the liquid should not exceed 1%.
The mechanical part is based on the design of the AQx80 pump series with an 80 mm stroke. Depending on the application, it can be equipped with oil charge cooling; pressure lubrication of the crank mechanism with a full-flow filter and pressure sensor is standard. Thanks to its overall robustness and larger oil volume in the mechanical section, the piston pump has very good thermal balance and long service intervals, which are advantageous in long-term industrial applications with demanding and continuous operating conditions.

Characteristics
pumped medium: primarily intended for pumping water, oils, and mildly chemically aggressive substances; however, a version has also been developed for petroleum substances at a temperature of 90°C, with mechanical contamination up to 0.1 mm
after consultation with our engineers, it can be adapted for pumping almost any liquid
the robust construction makes the triplex piston pump suitable for use in the most demanding conditions
high reliability and long service life of the pump are ensured by the excellent thermal balance of the mechanical part and, at the same time, by the design of the hydraulic part of the pump, which is made of high-quality stainless steel (cylinders + pistons)
the strict separation of the spaces containing the pumped medium and the crankcase oil filling by a non-pressurized chamber leads to higher operational reliability of the pump and minimizes maintenance requirements. Long service intervals are a fundamental prerequisite for low operating costs
in a special design, the pump can be installed in areas with explosion hazards (ATEX II)

Mechanical description
The mechanical part of the AQK 80 pump is designed as a robust and highly durable construction for continuous operation.
proven crank mechanism design
an integral part of the pump’s mechanical section is also an attached single-stage gearbox with the option of selecting from a wide range of gear ratios, which significantly simplifies adaptation of the pump to the required parameters and its subsequent coupling with the required drive (electric motor, hydraulic motor, combustion engine).
pressure lubrication with pressure regulation is ensured by a gear pump driven directly by the crankshaft
possibility of oil cooling at higher outputs, oil filtration, and pressure monitoring by a sensor
different design variants:
drive shaft can be arranged on the right or left side
constructively can be modified for direct drive of the crankshaft from the driving machine, also allowing radial loading of the output shaft (belt drive)
integrated water cooling of the oil filling in the standard version
for higher outputs, it can be supplemented with an efficient cooling system using an external cooling circuit and utilizing the pumped liquid
Hydraulic section description
hydraulic part made of high-quality austenitic steel
material of sealing elements adapted to the pumped medium
Stuffing box description
piston design of high-pressure pump for high flow rates
piston sealed by a set of V-packings, with the material adapted to the specific pumped liquid
pump cylinders coated with a hard metal coating for long service life
Valve assemblies:
valve design taking into account high flow rates and possible mechanical contamination of the pumped medium
valves equipped with return springs
possibility of valve control by pneumatic cylinders for flow regulation
precise design and durable materials for long service life
