Wastewater, drainage and sludge pumps are one-stage or multi-stage submersible pumps designed to pump pits, pools, canals, excavations, flooded cellars and other areas (lakes, rivers). A suitable pump is selected according to the amount and size of mechanical pollution, and of course due to required pressure and flow. Drainage pumps generally have a lower throughput of about 5 mm, but a higher transport height of about 20 m (2 bar). On the other hand, sludge pumps have a greater throughput of about 25 mm, but a lower transport height of about 10 m.
